November FLEW by. Seriously. A few things that were my favorite...
The Short Bread. - such interesting perspectives. I didn't grow up in a foodie house, and didn't learn how to really cook until my mid-thirties. A then-and-now comparison of my own food experiences would be fascinating.
Speaking of food - "hippie hash" (term coined by Dan) is our standard dinner right now. Saute a bunch of veggies. Throw in a non-meat protein source (likely seitan). Maybe add sweet potatoes, legumes, or beans. Serve in a big bowl.
I think that I've mentioned Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud before. Totally digging this video.
Actually enjoying Grey's this (final) season...but please DO NOT TELL ME THAT MEREDITH & DEREK BREAK UP. Because if that's true? I. give. up. on. life.
My favorite new scarf (with so many other uses).
Harold's brussels sprouts recipe - made for Thanksgiving. Definitely a fave.
Dan & I both got new coffee mugs at a Natural Living Expo. Austin says that you have to read them in a whisper to get the full effect. He's cheeky like that.
And a random list of little things that are SO my favorite - that first cup of coffee in the morning, group texts with the girls, angel numbers, fleece sheets, D's voice, catching up on How to Get Away with Murder, morning meditations, crafty projects, Sunday coffee with MB, and my awesome acupuncturist.
What was on your favorites list this month?
