We'll be ringing in the New Year in Jay, VT with some friends. They have a year-round "camp" up there, so a bunch of us will head up to play in the snow, then cuddle up next to the fire.
I've come to the conclusion that having 10 days off doesn't really count since the kids were off, too...which can interrupt productivity. I was a taxi service to basketball practice all week. I didn't accomplish as much as I wanted to. But I did get some extra sleep, watched a few movies, and knocked off a few small projects. I'm trying really hard to not start the New Year stressing about what I'm NOT or what is NOT done. Nothing but positive vibes, baby.
**computer update - the Geek Squad was able to recover the data on my hard drive - woo hoo!! - and I just ordered a new computer (an HP A1630N, in case anyone really wants to know)**
