I really don't understand how they rebuild an entire house in such a short period of time. I can only begin to imagine the cost involved. I work on a much smaller scale...
This weekend was Extreme Closet Makeover in my scraproom. Prior to this makeover, said closet was just a repository for things that we really didn't need but for some reason hadn't tossed. Things like a word processor...a big, bulky before-computers-were-affordable word processor. And a scanner that stopped scanning several years ago. And the grey leather jacket that I bought in high school when oversized mens jackets were somehow okay for girls to wear (likely b/c they just made you look like you were wearing your boyfriend's leather jacket). Anyway. We emptied the closet, sketched out what I wanted the end result to be, and headed for Home Depot. Uhm...who knew closet stuff was so expensive?? Geez! But, now that it's done....it was so worth it! Here's a little tour of my newly cleaned & organized scraproom & closet: 1) view of my room from the computer desk 2) the right side of the closet...the drawers hold wrapping/packaging supplies 3) the left side of the closet...so nice to have my patterned paper behind closed doors! 4)misc embellishments - sorted by color (I have a good memory for brands, so I don't leave anything in it's original pkg). A few other details for scrapbooking types reading that might notice these things...the shoe organizer hanging on the wall holds chipboard letters & shapes, the orange & green binders in the closet hold rub-ons, sorted by alphas vs. other stuff, and the white bins in the closet hold adhesive, punches, and large chipboard letters.

so jealous!! it looks awesome.
lovin those colors too :-)
hope you had a great weekend.

Ty was tying one on in a bar, most likely. It looks as though you didn't need him. The closet looks great. Anytime you want to practice your skills elsewhere, my closet looks pretty bad...
